Atletico will come close but as soon as their players can touch the trophy in their grasp they will win fade under the pressure.

I never understand why people make such bold statements in tight sporting events. You also predicted Liverpool would lose to Arsenal and be caught by United.

god forbid but lets entertain the following scenario: by the last game of the season versus atleti, barca cannot win the title anymore. it is between atleti and madrid only and atleti need some kind of result to win the league on that final day. if your in barca management do you realistically play half assed and allow for atleti to get the title over madrid?

Imagine a situation where we are out of the race and its Real 92, Atleti 90, Barca 85, Bilbao 80.

Its all down to the last game if Atletico wins they win the league. Draw or lose and it goes to Real.

Do we start with B players and let Atleti beat us at home or do we hand Real the trophy?

We hand real the trophy.
We are more than a club and we play fairly even if that means losing the title to our biggest rivals.It will be a legacy in the future about how fair Barcelona is when they could have lost and given athletico the title but instead they played fairly and made madrid win. Just wonder if real fans will change some perception about our club.

Plus, they'll never get the chance again after that teams is broken up over the next 18 months. Costa, Koke and maybe Turan will move on for big money.

as a fan i really hope barca win the league but at the same time a little piece of me would like to see athletico lift it to break up the barca/real dominance, id say whichever team goes out of the cl first will have an advantage with only having to focus on one competition and it will help keep players that bit fresher

In 11-12 the refferees gave 10-12 points to Real after many wrong decisions in their favour.
