Indeed. And it is not even the case of "brazil" here, it is a case of Dunga.

The logic:
-Brazil plays under Dunga, Dunga plays very defensively for a brazilian team (or at least what I have witnessed as Brazilian teams WC 94-98-02-06) I haven't seen much samba this year.
-Brazil play in WCQ defensivelier, even in less risky games. They qualified first spot.
-Brazil play dull and reserved football at the Confed Cup. (their counters were quite samba to give their praise) they won the tournament.

Million dollar question:
Will Brazil, with the same players, coach and in high-pressure games, turn around this dorky selecaofooty? After what happened to them at 06?

Yes FCB Titi, you touched my life.

the world cup has only been won outside of the host continent once, in Asia, so kindly include an Afro nation above. Why write us off guys? Thats really cold. Afterall even the president of the United States is a Kenyan. Yaya and Keita are Afro too.

I think this could well be the most open world cup in a long time.

My money has gone on the argies. My dark horse though is France.

One advantage for England is that for once they have the manager, whereas I can almost rule out France and Argentina simply because they will be such a mess.

Brazil and Spain will take a lot of beating.

Where's the North Korea option? They are currently winning the Daily Mail's poll with 68% of votes.

Anyway it's destined to be Brazil.

1. Defense wins World Cups; every World Cup winning team since the 80's has been an elite defensive team.

2. Europeans have never won outside of Europe.

3. England finally has a good coach, but England is always supposed to be a contender, yet since 1966 they have been in as many finals as fellow World Cup winner Uruguay.

4. Argentina has Maradona as a coach, zero team chemistry and an awful defense. I will be cheering on Argentina, but they stand no chance.

I hope Spain can prove me wrong and actually play up to their talent, but all the writing on the wall is pointing to Brazil winning it all.

The cold is an interesting x-factor, but World Cups have been played in mild climates before; Brazil has never had a problem playing in Argentina or Chile in winter.
