I will pick Alexis if i had to pick one and selling both isn't an option.

Alexis has at least shown some signs of improving recently while Pedro just gets worse and worse every time he plays.

It's a hard decision, I agree.

Pedro is a proven player for Barcelona, with Spain he's brilliant and so there must be something why he doesn't perform the same with Barca. I think the reason is... Messi. Since our wingers aim is to get the ball to Messi who has a brilliant finish, Pedro is unable to perform his best as he's not always able to what he wants. I could be wrong here...

Alexis on the other hand, lately has been brilliant. He should be given one more season to prove himself.

Pedro. Alexis is basically, after 2 seasons, a 26 mil+ euro flop while Pedro is still a developing striker for barca. To me, any argument to keep Alexis right now especially with Barca's striking problems would be baffling and in fact should be first person that should sold in the next transfer window. We got to remember that Alexis was bought with the intention of being a starting striker and a reasonable alternative to Messi when it comes to scoring goals regularly. Pedro to me is still developing and was only pushed into the 1st team because of our lack of alternatives up front

What? Whoever thought (or is thinking) that Alexis is a goalscorer is totally wrong. He isnt a goalscorer, will most probably never be.

To Answer the question i'd pick Alexis to stay. Fact is that he has been better, he has produced more goals and assists while playing muuuch, much less, especially from start.

Alexis is a forward hence his role is to score goals. We paid 26 mil + euro for him to score goals. What was his role supposed to be to warm the bench?. He wears the 9 shirt intended for a striker that starts most of the time. I would accept that any new starting striker must be given time to adapt (>= 2 seasons) but at the same time you would expect decent returns all the while e.g. 15-20 goals in La Liga, a hat trick or brace here or there in all other competitions. Alexis was bought to start with Villa and Messi as our primary goal scorers. I do not want to be hard on Alexis but he is just one in a long list or Barca transfers that just haven't worked out

If they brought him to score goals regularly, they went for the wrong man because he is more of a creator, not a goalscorer. He sucks right now because he is asked to do something he is not so good at.

That would be suprising because he is a forward and his role would be more of a finisher than a creator. Since he is deployed wide he would do some "creating" but in our system it was expected that he along with Messi and Villa would be the "finishers". Being new i didn't expect him initially to win any goal scoring awards but with Messi being heavilly marked and playing almost every match it was expected that Villa and Sanchez would be the alternative goal threats. Alexis was brought in when he started to be prolific in Serie A. At the time he was seen as suiting our system more so we paid 26m euro for him. To be fair, Alexis started poorly in Serie A so it could be a matter of giving him more time but this does not suit Barca right now.

I think there is room for both, with Neymar and Tello. Pedro needs to do a better job poaching, he is not there way too often. Alexis needs to score just a bit more, he is going the right direction in that respect. With their workrates and fine team attitudes, both Pedro and Alexis are real Barca types.

But Villa would be better off with a different team, and Cuenca should move on. Villa could even leave without Neymar arriving this summer.
