What's the difference between best and greatest?
It‘s a NBA thing…People know that Jordan is the GOAT, because he had the best achievements/stats/rings etc.
But others want to call LeBron the GOAT. Deep inside they know it is wrong, so they, along with others who are caught in the middle of the debate, call MJ the GOAT and LeBron the BOAT. Meaning that he may not have had the best career etc, but played basketball the most complete way.
Then there is also the DOAT That means „most dominant of all time“ It is usually appointed to Shaq or Wilt to show complete dominance,but for a shorter period of time
