Whos the best penalty taker?

That's so not fair! why haven't you put Waynie Rooney on this poll??? but as he's my one and only choice I vote for "others".

There are many good penalty takers but my favorite is Ibra and Ronaldinho. I dont think Ive seen Ibra miss a penalty kick but my vote will go to the one and only Ronaldinho. Messi is good too but I dont like it when theres no power, a bit risky.

There are other good penalty takers (Owen Hargreaves, Giuseppe Rossi) but they dont take a lot of penalties and/or arent under real pressure so you cant really judge.

Thats why. C. Ronaldo has been taken the penalties for United ever since Ruud left not Rooney. Rooney has just started and he's actually been good but if I included him loads of other players also deserve to be included

So CL and WC dont classify as real pressure?
The only one who got it right on july,1 2006 over ur Lampards and Gerrards. And, u 've those two but not the Canadian in your poll. It's a disgrace i say.
It takes a lot of bottle to step forward on such a big stage and do the job when ur not ur team's regular pk taker...He doesn't take as many as Gerrards and Lampards but he 'll never miss them when it matters the most. If it's just about the frequency and being first choice, u should also add Arteta and Murphy to ur list. U've just included big names in ur poll and some of them who imo are very overrated at this aspect.

I also like to mention Elano. He is a very reliable Pk taker. But, O.H is awesome.

RVP should have probably been included!? Especially when the likes of David Villa, Lampard, etc. who do miss penalties more than occasionally are included!! Not once to my knowledge did RVP miss one!!

Messi takes it on regular basis and his scoring ratio in penalties speaks for itself, its obvious that he deserves a place in this poll more than Arteta, Murphy and Hargo (if you still dont agree read the post before that). Messi has yet to take a penalty in a CL final or WC final but has Arteta or Murphy? I can count the penalties "Hargo" took in one hand, he's amazing and I already said that in my very first post, but he hasnt taken enough penalties. Its like arguing that Ricardo (Potugals 'keeper) deserves a place in this poll because he scored against England in the Euros and up until now he has 100% record in penalties. The one player I forgot to include in this poll is Ballack.
