he is 29. 70m is to much to pay for a 29 year old.
He's at least 3 years younger than Messi or Moderic ... Don't see a problem for a fairly robust and very , very fit guy tbh
In my experience fan's favourites are rarely ' ineffective ' ...

Messi has just gone 31.. Willian is 30 next month.. so 1 year 2 months between them..

What is your basis for these opinions??? Lol. You're wrong about the age and Modric has aged wonderfully so far which doesn't often happen. You also claimed he is very consistent which is just flat out false. And then now you're calling him a "fan favorite"?? What could possibly suggest he'd be a fan favorite? If anything he's directly going to get in the way of one in Dembele.
At least come up with one correct statement man

And there is little to say that he's consistent or would be a fan favorite at Barca. Good chance he indirectly creates more problems than he "solves". Of all the players to drop 70m+ on, Willian is not even close to one of them. Hilarious the idea that we have no use for Thiago who was literally the best Bundesliga player over the whole 16/17 season but we should be willing to pay more for a guy who is a role player for Chelsea.
Willian is 29 nearly 30 .... Modric is 32 but 33 in two months ... 32 less 29 equals 3 ...and as if by magic... 33 less 30 is ALSO 3 !

Regarding Messi its flat out false, also wingers and CM are different when it comes to aging so Modric doesn't prove anything. Just look at the 31+ yo wingers, they often start to lose a lot of their quality really fast and he would probably get a contract till he is almost 34 here.
50+ mil for Willian would is just crazy and would make the situation in 2-3 years even worse by adding yet another 30yo player when we already have Suarez, Messi, Busquets, Rakitic, Alba and Pique (+Paulinho but i guess we would need to sell him to get Willian?) in the same age group. Not even speaking of our wages that are already sky high.
