Lets get real -he's a great player but he's just so obnoxious it's untrue .

He's just spoiling this World Cup big time for me .

He'd better be squeaky clean because if it comes out sometime that he's been taking something to enable him to get better as he gets older I'm gonna be well miffed !

The introduction of VAR seems to be giving more bad decisions than ever before ... so many clear penalties missed and some dodgy ones given .

It's all very strange .

Even in open play the refs seem to miss bad and even dangerous tackles yet stop the play for obvious dives .

This is yet another example of why stats never show the whole story and it concerns both Cr and Messi. How many times have they played the perfect pass but the receiver cant score a 1-on-1 vs the keeper?

Messi basically doesn’t have a World Cup because of this.

not true. VAR is far from perfect, but has immensely improved the refereeing already.

p.s. Ronaldo should have had about three assists already to Guedes in these two games but he can't score for shit :lol:

The level of flopping is unbelievable. These guys have zero toughness and even less integrity. A little slap to the side of the head is now a life threatening injury.

We can see here bunch of insecure messi fans, when ronaldo score they pop up with comments like "he cant dribble, his team is good, is lucky", when messi doesnt score "but his team is shit, he is playmaker"

Do you even read yourself? Why just not appriciate how lucky you are to see those 2 players playing and dominating, every match you turn into messi vs ronaldo debate, angry because media writes this and that, if you really think messi is better you wouldnt come out with such comments, instead you would enjoy in football

My comment anout his passing and dribbling was jumped on by people-- but the only point I was making is that he is unlike any player I've seen- having such a lopsided skill set. It's interesting to me his skill level in goal scoring is SO GOOD, he doesn't need anything above average passing and dribbling. Not many other players have a specialised skill set that good.

Never seen Raphael Guerreiro struggle so much against his direct opponent. A shame Amrabat can’t cross or pass.
