They see it no doubt, but it is up to the main ref to not resume the play at the dead ball. Otherwise it cannot be interrupted and brought back to the challenge.

Marciniak is fucking fool TBH. He's been called up as the top ref from Poland, but his ego is through the roof in recent years. As soon as he started getting the calls for Spurs vs Juve, his mistakes added up continuously.

Refs from elite category who refuse to look at VAR and act like arrogant idiots should be downgraded into a lower category.

Pen. and red card is a horrific call to miss. Influences the game probably more than any other type of error.

I've seen better performances from unknown refs this World Cup than by so called UEFA elite.

Well Germany was lucky with the call.. But watching Germany play today..they look like even if sweden scores, germany may outscore them..Against Mexico, never once in 90 minutes did i feel germany would score..Thoroughly outplayed for all of the match..

What? Its obvious what im talking about. VAR sees the ref makes a mistake, they call it, thats how it should work, simple as that.

Refs are given too much freedom. They want them to feel relevant.

Imo, if all the refs in VAR room agree on something, the main ref would have to take a look.
