Firimino is good in air and tall enough...decent bit taller and stronger than likes of Villa.

He was used as focal point in box from Liverpool when teams sat deep.

Liverpool is not a good example for your point.

Also as said.. Liverpool and City both chose to spend huge money on big CFs.

They did but won loads without and possibly both were better without. City might have beaten the likes of Brentford and beaten Fulham easier with aguero in his peak

Aye but what team do you like?

Not what teams dont you like..

France I assume?

Before tournament: all Europeans, except Spain

Now, after 10 matches: France and England the most
Germans are usually my favorites but not with this 451 sterile football without a true Cf.

A true Cfs are coming back in fashion after a decade of false 9s.
Football is evolving all the time.
From 442 to 433 with false 9s to a tall no9 back again.

Or City may win the CL with Haaland and both Klopp and Pep opted for big CFs.

Never end if start claiming 'what ifs'.

France and England have two of the best squads would agree but I reckon Brazil will do well and rightfully up there as a fav.

Spain dont just lack a CF either they lack a lot of things would compare to other teams so if they dont win it it is not all on that.

Both Germany and Argentina both went in at half-time yesterday probably thinking to themselves, a nice comfortable win to start. Got to love the World Cup.

Rudigers daft run summed up Germanys complacency in that second half.

Not even concentrating fully on game.

He is majorly over rated.
