how come that UEFA has so many National teams? Luxembourg population is 600,000, UK still gets 4 teams (incl Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland), then all those former Yugoslavia states, then Moldova etc. It's just too much. Iceland with 300 thousand people is still legitimate, but all those others?
What should be done to streamline UEFA? Any ideas?

It has made the qualifiers almost unwatchable. The quality of football and matches are crap.

because that's UEFA's idea on how to shut up the smaller countries and get power and support.

that's why they've pushed for club competitions that basically include all the teams in europe.

Cannot have San Marino, Andorra, Luxembourg etc in same category as Italy, France, etc.
Also, isn't it about time to stop letting UK have 4 teams? Even after Brexit?

You could make the case that Spain should have 3 teams (Catalunya and Basque team in addition to Spain), Germany should have an additional Bavarian team, etc etc. Time for UEFA (and FIFA) to cut down number of teams from Europe.

The UK is not a football entity, it's not even really a nation, it's a union of nations. Asking why the UK has multiple teams is like asking why the EU has multiple teams. Brexit illustrates this more, not less. Besides, UK nations make up 50% of the voting power in IFAB, so UEFA couldn't change things even if they wanted to.
