A lot of tackles from behind are only yellows till now on a WC

Ok, there was no clear reds, iirc, but there was a lot of wild tackles who could be reds in some other occassions

Both teams were pressing hard in the first half, Spain did well retaining possession amid Germany’s pressing but they have started showing cracks. Just like us, whenever the midfield loses the ball Germany pushes forward at a lightening speed and Spain becomes vulnerable.

Germany will score in the second half for sure, I feel.

Spain be as well putting Williams CF at least can offer threat in behind if times run right.

Asensio cant hold up ball anyway with back to goal so not going to miss that regardless.

Atleast Williams would give the Germans more to think about and maybe pin them back a bit to let midfield and wide players closer to the area.

Spain lack a decent striker. Ferran is not Good enough as all Barca fans know. Perhaps fati could get this chance and prove he still has it.

As expected - Germany can't do shit without a killer upfront.

Gnabry, Musiala and Mueller can all score for Germany, also Goretzka. Spain on the other hand, relies on an erratic Ferran and Olmo. Germany has the upside in the scoring department in my opinion.

Pretty decent absorbing the high press from Spain mid and defense. Also counter pressing well. Don't think it will last for 90 minutes though. Someone is gonna crack (Busi)
