Raphinha fits Brazil because he is the workhorse there. Barca he struggles because he needs to do more.

Brazil doesn't need Raphinha to do anything magical when you have Vini and Neymar.

Raphinha should be the work horse winger for Barca but Barca is asking too much from skill side of the game.

True, but he needs to do more because the other players aren't doing their part. At Brazil, with many players doing their part, he is very important player. At Barca, we constantly need to have players outside of their comfort zone to carry someone else.

Besides, Raphinha - Dembele would be a great starting combo if one of them would be able to play LW very well.

Lucho has taken it to a new level.. with a CB being the main playmaker and man on ball.

Surely that means the midfield is not functioning when a CB has 80 odd passes while the DM and a CM have 25 and 16 each.

Or get a midfielder that is effective in the last 3rd and a proper offensive fullback on the right. That's the issue, we don't have any option, it's not just that we lack an elite LW. We even lack a proper RB.

RB could help as well because Raphinha could combine with him. Either way, Raphinha needs help on the side. He is good combining with players.

Dembele is doing fine on right.. it is the system not suiting Raphinha more than anything.

He needs more movement around him and to be allowed to get central more if want to get best from him.

True. He can be fantastic player in the right system. For example Brazil, he looks good. Way better than for Barca.

An offensive RB could take the wing properly, but all we've had since Alves were scrubs or makeshift defensive RBs used to be CBs .
