Not sure if it's been mentioned but Argentina's yellow cards/injuries are a real issue.
I heard my commentator say Acuna and Montiel are both suspended for Croatia? Add to that Messi will miss the final with a yellow v Croatia...
De Paul looked totally unfit in the 2nd half and Di Maria has to start next game.
They deserved to win however, never thought I'd see Holland resort to smashing high balls in, almost came off as-well.

If Holland won, it'd have been exactly the same the other way.

Acuna definitely he's much better than his backup, montiel not so much now that they won't be playing Brazil, they should be able to make it without him..
Montiel had a game for the ages against Brazil in the copa final, think he would have been needed against them. More than Croatia.

Wonder about his fitness. Why was he subbed on with just couple of minutes left? Just a bad decision by Scaloni or still bothered by that injury? They looked so much better those few minutes he played.

Montiel is the best FB they have going forward and part of the reason for 352 tonight was no wide players they trust so gave width to full backs and put Messi free behind a striker with 3 mids behind him.
They cant really play that was as effectively without their best attacking full backs as well.
Would say he is bigger miss than Acuna.. who was decent tonight but doesnt have much quality.

From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank Croatia for sending Brazil mercenaries home. Now I want to see Tite and the players do that stupid dance.

All in all. This was a world cup classic that makes the game beautifull to watch. Reminded me off Argentina vs England mixed with Argentina vs Netherlands in 98 and sprinkled with a little battle of N?rnberg on top. Awesome match.
