Spain's midfield can easily overrun France's double pivot. However, I'm not sure about Alba and Azpilicueta against Mbappe and Dembele.

I would imagine the very weak midfield will pose a problem against teams good enough to get up the park and get in battles with them.

Costa Rica aren't good enough at all to even get near competing in the midfield spaces and fighting for control but for those ones who can the lightweight midfield will make it easier.
