First let's see him in the rest of the season. He plays great and leads us to a title win, you can maybe justify giving him close to Lewandowski money. If he wants more than 12m net or something... he can go.

I hear he wants some big bonuses too. Money could add up to a lot in the end for a new long term deal between wages and sign-on bonuses to him and his agent.

This is true, but he should have 10-15 goals et season, not 1. That is not world class. Hence why I never fear him in front of goal. Of course, 1 in 15 games, he scores a goal that Messi would score in every game for us.
