Well your not being fair with your comparison´s ? You say Ronaldo wasn't better this season because of his injury, what about Messi ?! He was injured for over 2 months last season and he still battled Ronaldo for FIFA world player.
Why we are comparing this season ? because it is the present .. that's what we're talking about, Messi is clearly better statistically speaking and with individual skills.

These are the things ronaldo has an advantage of messi
Ronaldo won the world player of the year and bollon d'or and many other awards
Awards speak for themselves.
Ronaldo won trophies with his club, messi didn't, unless you count the gamper trophy.
Ronaldo is more complete, please don't start talking about bousquets or gubgonsen, ronaldo know everything in an excellent way, gudgonson is an average player compared to ronaldo, ronaldo know everything he needs to know for his position, and also for other positions. Messi is not really a very good crosser, all his assists came from passing. And as Evil said, one good cross in more than 100 games don't count, like the one he crossed and henry missed recently.
Messi plays in the right wing just to shoot with his left, ronaldo is more versatile. These are my main points I can remember, I won't even come back to this thread and look at your replies, even you fcbnof because I expect you to curse me. Dont try to private message me

Gamper trophy is Messi's only award? Seriously you have some serious nerve to start arguments and just spew nonsense and we're supposed to accept this BS as a valid point.
Messi won 2 La Ligas, 2 Spanish Supercups, and a Champions League before Cristiano Ronaldo. Messi is 2 years younger than Ronaldo on top of that, and he's won the U-20 World Cup, the Olympics (U-23), and runner up in Copa America. Ronaldo doesn't even come close to Messi on the international stage. Ronaldo can't lead Portugal to anything because he's a flop half the time when he's wearing the Selecção jersey. Messi has won FIFAPro Young Player of the Year 3 times by pipping Ronaldo. Messi's won 3rd place in Ballon D'or, and last season 2nd place in Ballon D'or, so guess what he's going to win this season?

That Ronaldo fanboy is clueless. For the past year & a half - 2 years football fans have been divided into two groups; Those who think Messi is the world's best player & those who, for reasons unknown, believe Ronaldo is - Or in other words, those who actually follow football & those who don't understand the game at all. Messi is clearly the world's greatest player, forgetting stats, as they're not one of fanboy's strong points. His ability to beat a player from a standing position or at full speed, finishing, impact on big games is far superior to Ronaldo's. Then, ability aside, Ronaldo is a registered cheat. He hasn't got an ounce of sportsmanship in him; Never fails to throw himself to the ground, disrespect the officials and/or the opposition's players and at times, even his own team mates. When Barca played Manchester United last year the game was built up to be the clash of the game's two greatest players, United came out on top over the two legs yet Ronaldo was nowhere to be seen other than when he missed a penalty @ Camp Nou. United fans may argue that Messi didn't open up their defence but at least he was involved in the game after returning from injury & he wasn't reduced to waving his hands in the air & blaming his team mates for his own faults & failures. I certainly never want to see Ronaldo wearing a Barca jersey. Fairy.
