I was so happy to see this scum fuck up the way he did today and cost his team the victory.

One of the biggest pieces of shit in football, looking forward to never having to see him again after his old ass gets shipped out in the next season or two.

Whats the deal with him? This is not the first time i see someone hating him with a passion, but I dont quite understand the reason for that. What did he do?

People are referring to his entire career, not something particularly scummy he did today. He was one of the key hatchet men for Mourinho's Madrid, for one. Pepe, Marcelo, and Arbeloa were just as dirty, but Alonso got away with more.

i must have been living under a rock, because i never noticed something negative about him. What did he do under Mourinho?

Well, he kicked players infront of the ref as well, but rarely got booked or sent off anyway.

I never liked him and have always hated how he got away with nearly everything while playing for Madrid. But he seems to be a different player for Bayern so far. No scumbag moves up to this point.
That does not make me like him though.

He was a Real Madrid player, so naturally a lot of Cules don't like him. But personally I don't dislike him at all, he is one of the best midfielders in the world and his work rate and distributions are just amazing.

He was one of the main faces for Real Madrid and essentially their henchman on the pitch. His role at Bayern is different and he generally plays much better here and is truly the anchorman between midfield and defense.

3 months in Germany and his German is nearly as good as Pep's (~1,5 years of learning) and not that far off from Ribery's (7 years of "learning").

Interesting that he mentioned that in the Bundesliga, the players are stronger than in La Liga and the style of play is faster.

I think anyone who watches the two leagues would agree with him here. BPL players though are the strongest and most physical of all leagues still.

Stronger surely, but faster? Depends on the team, I guess. As for the average, no idea.
