Absolutely he does. And contrary to other managers at the top 10 teams, he wasn't backed with half a billion.
That being said, the team has to improve and challenge for the league next season, if he can't get us there, I agree his time is up.

He's made plenty of mistakes and the club backed him regardless of what you think. We put ourselves in further debt to sign and improve the team because "we are barca" we can't use that as an excuse to put more financial risk on the club but then ignore it when it suits your narrative. The guy has failed numerous times when the going gets tough, fluking a fucking league title because of black magic(only explanation just like Zidane's cl voodoo) prevent teams form scoring absolute sitters.
We still have one of the largest wages and transfer budgets compared to other teams. How do you justify not having a style of player after fucking 2+ years and being outplayed be teams with a fraction of our overall budget. Guys a fucking mediocre manager at best and you going against literally everything you ever argued about our previous managers just shows your hilarious hypocritical take on things.

Doing well, 2-0 up, defence makes a mistake, we collapse due to the pressure and Xavi gets himself sent off to self fulfil his prophecy that everyone is against us. Rinse and repeat.
The players have a bottle mentality no doubt about it, when the going gets tough the players shit their pants BUT seeing the manager do that also just compounds the problem.

We are still working our way through getting rid of the transfer disasters of Bartomeu.
If Xavi is allowed to get the old, slow players he wants this summer, we will be working through those disasters for the next 3/4 years as well.

You absolutely can win a 38 competition when the level dips and you constantly fluke a number of games which we did. Don't want to dive into the stats but the eye test should be enough to tell our performances weren't that of serious champions - lets not talk about Europe as well.. We just have to look at the EPL that you love to talk about, look at the level of the teams dropping and Leicester winning the fucking league, you don't think that was a fluke? the biggest fluke in history. if it can happen to an ultra-competitive league like the EPL why can't it happen in an effectively 2 horse Legue here.Only in my mind? The title win is great but it's because of the circumstances around the season and not because Xavi is great.
Also, he hasn't improved us in the CL it just looks that way because we massively underperformed previous years so the bar was absurdly low. Your results-based analysis is a joke.

i notice that Inter (255m) are below us but yet they comfortably won their league and were in the CL final last year pushing city close. Maybe money isn't the be all and end all that you seem to think it is. To strengthen that point where is Bayer Leverkusen? you know the one with Xabi being undefeated in the league and potentially doing a double with an assembled squad value of 275m. - this is not important as im just highlighting money isn't the only thing that determines success, to me a style of play and progression are equally if not more important
If sport gave titles to teams based on spend then yeah you could have some sort of point.
If anything, losing against teams with a fraction of our budget seems to be reinforced by this link.
