Xavi getting some love on social media:

✅ Brought Jules Koundé to Barça
✅ Signed Raphinha
✅ Handed Lamine Yamal his first chance
✅ Gave Cubarsí his debut
✅ Believed in Gavi when it mattered most
✅ Unearthed the gem, Fermín López
✅ Helped Alejandro Balde burst into the spotlight

He came during the storm and built a future from the ruins. This Copa del Rey has Xavi Hernández’s fingerprints all over it.

Don't forget this man, Culers!

Ancelotti misses him. He was feasting on Ligas and Claiscos with him in charge.

When Barca went through its bad spell in november/december, Xavi fans were the first to jump on Flick and claim it vindicated Xavi. Then Flick turns it around and it's down to the foundations laid by Xavi.

Shades of the LVG fans on cafe in 2015 claiming he laid the foundations at Barca, Bayern, and was doing the same at United.

Sounds good, but things could get ugly like Conte and Mourinho questioning the mentality of the squad. Xavi is no stranger to complaining.

That is who Conte and Mourinho are and they have shown it time and again.

Hopefully not who Xavi is in future and was all just too much mentally for him at Barca by last season.

Spurs is a huge job. They are an attractive club in London playing in one of the best stadiums on the planet, in the best and most watched league itw.

This is a great opportunity for Xavi. He can speak English, work with young players and won't have a lot of pressure to win trophies.

I always had a soft spot for Spurs. They're a very likeable club imo.

Imagine the culture shock

A born winner like Xavi coaching Tottenham
Imagine thinking he can get a better job.

Sure, he can get a bigger club like United but the pressure and media exposure at United is insane. The press will destroy Xavi if he doesn't get results.

So all things considered, Spurs is pretty much the best job he can get.
