A good game. Good starting eleven set up well, good connections and combinations on the pitch, good subs when the game was decided, finally letting some players rest and other players get some minutes. This was back into form again, maybe it was two off games instead of a broken trend. Napoli, Atletico, today, and a couple more games lately has been better team performances than I've seen since LE, or probably since Pep tbh.

It sure looks like Xavi knows what was missing and what he's doing to address those issues. Let the man do his job and we might even get back to being happy when Barca plays ( I already am, but some still have their doubts, no biggie)

TBH, a lot of ppl here thought Xavi would be a failure lol. The majority thought he is simply a possession-obsessed Cruyff-wannabe like Setien, Martino, etc. But guess what? Looks like many underestimated his intelligence and experience.

Because people don't care to inform themselves.

Xavi certainly picking up better performances so credit where it's due. In all fairness I think most people didn't see us signing Aubameyang, Adama and Torres to give him actual forward options. Think we'd be just as shit as we were with Koeman if we didn't sign them.

Our general game was not even close to smoothness under Cowman. Players looked confused most of the time, only individual tricks helped to break defenses. More defensive errors. Stupid tactics all around. Getting forwards helps scoring, but it wouldn't help creativity and quickness that we now have organically again. Even vets play better.

Yeah and Xavi gave this team confidence. Koeman mostly gave confidence to himself.
