Me and henry14 had it down as 4. Messi clipped the ball over ramos (looool) for henry's first, and eto'o squared it to piqué for the sixth. Still a wonderful game though. He is one of those players that doesnt get worse with age through lack of pace. He relies on his mind and passing...those things will only get better.
His assist for Messi was delightful, when he spun round and threaded it through. Delicious, he can control the game like no other. I think the reason I wouldn't call him the 2nd best player is because he only works well in a team where he has a top-class forward line who feeds off him. Someone like Messi or Iniesta could perform at a weaker team too, I would think, because they can create out of nowhere.
Absolutely. As well as I've seen him play for a long, long time. Incredible performance. 10/10. If he had scored (which is just asking for too much at this stage ), I wouldn't have been able to make myself believe my eyes.
I was listening in on a conversation about football today on the bus and this guy, I think he was a Man Utd fan, was practically drooling over Xavi (and Iniesta). I couldn't help but smile. At last those two are starting to get the attention they deserve from footie fans around the world.
