Obviously Xavi's giving detailed instructions for every player/position and I see it holding Auba back a lot. He should be given freedom to roam more and link with others.

How many times not just tonight but recently has Gavi been making dribbles only to get pressured off the ball when he resorts to fishing for fouls with his head down when he should be looking for passes instead with his head up before the defender gets him. But just like Adama and now Dembele tonight I don't see teammates giving them options. I think no-urgency jogging Pedri ethic is rubbing off on others after all the praise he's been given for his recent goals.

Yes. The pitch was bad and it felt like playing away from home. But these aren't major talking points and don't really want Xavi to focus on them the night he lost it all.
