I believe Xavi seeks a balance between youth and veterans in terms of transition between generations. The time will come but a sudden termination of Busquets, Pique and Alba could leave the club hanging without a leadership on the pitch. MATS will be the likely captain under these circumstances.

I think Xavi's system was toxic, but he's shown a small improvement against Betis. I'm hoping with Fati and Puig he'll be able to trust the players more in midfield.

I think it is much bigger than Xavi and it definitely predates him. I don't know, watching our games and watching some other teams play sometime make me feel like we just don't work hard enough and are so entitled and lazy etc. That gut feeling.

It can happen. It's just not something you should expect or demand. Crazier things have happened in football, but those are mostly accidents.
