Barca are on the cusp of having a top top squad if things go correctly and Xavi can lead them throiugh it while sorting out the shape of midfield and front three.
Promising signs that he is veering back to realising how important FDJ is in midfield and tucking in the LW closer to the CF.

Finally some optimism.
Squad is good. We need Araujo to come good (I know Kounde will), a home run signing for rightback spot, Pedri and Gavi to gain more experience, and a top LW (don't trust either one of Ferran or Ansu). And obviously hoping that Lewa will still be class at 36, that is not a given either.
If we can make a top signing in CM area to not put so much extra pressure on Gavi and Pedri it would be fantastic too. All of these should make us a top 5 side imo, able to compete hard in CL against the best.
Most important of all now is to find a top class RB. Arnold would be great, maybe we can tempt Liverpool to sell, who knows.

Steady on... I like pointing out hypocrisy and that often gets bogged down as criticism.
When in fact have been on the side of Xavi many times with how he handled Dembele situation, how he dumped the runt Puig etc.
Never called for him to be sacked but pointed out where think he has gone wrong and he should be under same pressure as others would be for European exits etc.
Still dont think Reals squad is stronger than Barca either and league is more than achievable with players have.
Dont think they will pay big money or go for a sure thing RB... as it isnt really there. More likely a more attacking option than can rotate with Kounde or a youngster for B team that can come in now and again.
Dont mind Martinez signing for depth at CB, even Jorginho likes in midfield as long as not a sole DM with Pedri/Gavi posted up park.
Then up top maybe go for Thuram or similar for free to have some back up at CF and can cover other front three roles as well.
It wont take huge money from here to have a very good squad and one can compete with the top sides.

If so, Xavi should be sacked. He clearly has no vision for future at all. I can excuse Lucho taking him, because he has limited source of material to work with and it's his last major tournament, but for Xavi there's no excuses. If he renew him, he proves that he's ignorant.

We need a young, physical DM with good technique. I'm sure there are quite a few out there but as usual we are late to the party when it comes to unearthing new talent.
If Laporta is serious he should revamp the whole scouting set up. We need to buy players before they are discovered and have ridiculous transfer market values.
