Yes with the key point being that it's different next season and we make a great European run.
If the team is good enough to be 12 points ahead of Madrid it is surely good enough to make a run next season.
Nobody will hold Europe against him much if that happens.
That is what will happen. It's natural progression. First you do great in your country, young players get confident after they get used to winning titles, and you arrive on the big stage. It's normal par for the course for the building blocks of a young team.
Normally, I'd want us to sign some elite players and maybe even aim as high as making the CL final next season. But even if we don't, since it's next to impossible, getting past the groups and maybe checking a CL quarterfinal will happen at worst imo.
Either way we'll count in CL next season for sure.
