It is not like Xavi being at the bench will make any difference. Perhaps it will be a blessing in disguise.

Xavi is clueless as ever as a manager. His post-game remarks regarding the game were right on the money though.

He wont 'learn'. He's one of those managers who was a class player but simply has no idea how to manage a team.

Nothing wrong with it that has a list of people like Maradona, Lothar Matthaus, Laudraup, Shearer, Lampard, Gerrard, Pirlo etc...

I've never seen a manager who has so clueless on how to manager a team. This guy is a disaster.

We won't miss him. That's for sure. I wonder when Laporta will wake up? Last season's league win just glossed over the fact that he has no vision, no plan and no idea how to play.
It's time to actually bring in a top manager to sort out the mess.
That fat baboon Laporta would probably bring in Marquez cause of "Barca DNA".

The club is going down the toilet.

Games can get away from you with an early sending off sometimes. Willing to give a pass for this one.

But the signs weren't there that there is any progress since last year.

This summer has been mediocre at best in terms of players in vs out, we are worse than last season and with no Camp Nou, older Lewa... not good.

Prepare for a difficult season.

But also older Araujo, Balde, Gavi, Pedri, Lamal, Fati etc and more players heading to those prime years and likes of FDJ more at home in team.

While Kounde/Christ/Raphinha all had a season to bed in.

Lewa looks worse but also others have improved their profile... or should be.

Majority of players should be better a year on if developed and more settled in team.

Only really Lewa should be the one ageing out. Others who were left.

Lewa, Raphinha, and Dembele were out top 3 forwards last season by a mile, and we still struggled to score goals. This season, one is gone, the other looks washed up. Pray Raphinha has an amzing season, and Roque is an instant hit, or we will have major problems.

And Roque comes in January. Many games until then.

I reckon Ferran and Fati will contribute more than you think if given minutes.

Don't think so. They got plenty minutes last year and were plain bad.

Such turnarounds in a couple of months are quite rare in the game.
