No, they are "good" but not quality to become a player for Barcelona A.
Xavi Simons is the type of player we need in the A team right now, unfortunally hes way to young.

NOBODY can judge whether or not ANY academy player is going to join the first team or not. There are 4-5 great talents in all Masia teams with the ability to go far one day.
Juvenil A: Lee, Cucu, Busquets, Mboula, Ruiz.
Juvenil B: Miranda, Jaume, Orellana, Riqui, Gomez.
Cadet A: Tenas, Garcia, Nico, Bernabe, Ansu, Moreno.
Cadet B: Domenech, Navarro, Rico, Abaida, Jardi.
Infantil A: Simons, Olle, Pelaz, Alastuey, Balde, Fermin.
Infantil B: Almeida, Larios, Garrido, Capdevilla, Paez, Planas.
On the surface, these are the highest rated talents of La Masia today, but nobody can predict who and how many of them becomes first team players.
Many times it's the less known players on the teams who go far, like Puyol, Pedro, Busquets, Roberto. Puyol was always told he'd never make it, Pedro was behind several wingers when he joined Juvenil A, Busquets wasn't hyped at all during youth years before Pep joined Barça B, and Roberto was usually a squad player in his younger days.

yeah, there's little point in betting on him making it all the way. bojan was a phenomenon during his la masia years and look at him now. there's just no telling. besides, years 16-18 are KEY indicators of professional potential insofar as height/weight/speed are more or less discernible then. and simons is not there yet.

His dad is a former Eredivisie player. I am sure he knows the football scene enough to make the best decisions for his son. They have rejected EPL approaches before to stay at Barcelona.
But Raiola is not good for us. Reality is that it is more profitable for an agent to have a young star outside Barcelona than inside Barcelona. Reason being that he can make more commissioning big transfers from club to club.
