I think their loyalty to a local company is quite admirable actually, and the latest Umbro kits are really nice with their retro stylings and soft material

and yeah the loyalty to umbro is admirable, but I suppose it's more to do with the fact that they're tied into a contract.

And yeah, I know Meta was kidding but I actually like seeing some other brands apart from the usual lot of Nike, Adidas et al out there...Lord knows we need some originality and the corporate whores seem to keep making things more & more similar

Umbro is part of Nike, it's only because people think it's English that they use it instead of putting Nike on it.
I like the kit, but it's too similar to the last one to fork out another £40 for it.

I only wear mine when I'm going to games anyway. Or when I'm going doing a sport which is going to get me dirty. Paintballing etc.
Anyone who gets their name on their shirt is a cnut.

Isn't it only like 10 more than if you don't get a name? I only get names of players I'm sure will be at the club forever, I feel stupid wearing a jersey of a player thats no longer there.
