No way he could balance our game like Busi does...Pep of course knew that but some of you still dont...

I don't think any of us have said he could be our DM but he'd bring an element that we've severely lacked over the past few seasons if played in place of Xavi in tough away matches like Keita did. He's too good for that though so we're just dreaming. No harm in that.

LOL @ the people still delusional about Yaya not being able to fit at Barca.

He was integral part of Barca before he left, was a very important cog in the system, is the most adaptable CM/CDM, can play CB, can play CAM, can play fucking striker if you wanted him to, works hard, mentally intelligent, team player, huge physical presence, all tied together with strong technical skill.

Yaya can fit into any midfield in the world and it's stupid and delusional as fuck to think otherwise.

People saying "you would bench prime xavi/iniesta to pay Yaya? Or bench busquets (as pure DM) and play Yaya there instead?" is being silly, that is what a ROTATION system is for. Yaya, skill/ability is on match for prime Xavi/Iniesta absolutely, it's not a problem to play Busquets/Xavi/Yaya or Busquets/Iniesta/Yaya or Iniesta/Xavi/Yaya as in times past.

The thing is, Yaya wanted more minutes and with us back then having 2 better players, Xavi and Iniesta, for the more advance position and having a player who was better in the DM position, Yaya would not have had alot more minutes back then. That's why he left. It not because he didn't fit the system, just because he wanted more minutes.

What a goal he scored last night!!

The thing is people saying we had a better DM then in Busquets when it wasn't exactly true. At that time there was no way Busquets was a better DM. It was just one of many gambles Pep took which proved fine. Personally, I thought the treatment of Yaya by Pep was disgraceful and ultimately made up his mind for him.

He's just been extraordinary this season for City, he wins you games single handedly. Let's be honest, no one from our midfield are game changers like him. Remarkable remarkable player.

Yaya would be the last thing we need. I thank him for his services for us, but that is one of the laziest players who ever played for us. He is up there with Riquelme.

Yeah cuz a 6 foot 4 guy who is faster than all our midfield players is exactly what we don't need!

Since when is speed something we require from our CMs? Not to mention Toure is more strong than fast, but whatever...

It doesnt matter how fast or strong he is. What we need are players willing to run themselves into the ground for the team. I lost count on the number of times I see Toure do something great, and then walk around for the next 10 minutes. Besides, I was always unimpressed by the inability of Toure to actually use his size properly. He should be a monster in the air and score at least half a dozen goals from corners. In reality, he is frequently beaten by players half his size, but with massive bravery and determination.

Since Xavi and Cesc started jogging.

Yaya Toure has been criticised a fair bit this season as he has no interest in tracking back.

He can bomb forward like a 25 yr old when he wants but ambles back barely jogging when play is going other way a lot of the time.
