I'm all for rewarding form and merit. But certain opposition/matches need certain requirements and skill sets. Yaya didn't 've the best of season but he was the better option in some he wasn't used. Inter being one example..Its not about fair selection but smart selection.

Pep did play a totally shitty Keitee some time after ACN and benched Yaya for it... it was totally wrong move, Keita didn't offer any thing but running during that period (it was like 10 matches stretch, one could find the amount of hatred Keitee accumulated during that time by looking back in his thread and it was not just from the supposed Yayaiestas) but still he got chances ahead of Yaya!!

So when someone contradicts your opinion, you start calling them names. Extremely mature. But i won't be going that road. I'm no "yayaista" or "Busista"...I concede i've affinity for some players but i dont let that interfere my judgement towards their competitors. An out-of-form Yaya wasn't so bad against Inter @ home regardless of the tactics deployed by our opponent.

The problem is i highly rate your analysis and knowledge about the game. So when u disappoint me, i'll say so. Anyway i've not been here on weekdays to keep contradicting your opinion. Not sure where u got tht from.

and yaya wasn't so bad against inter, but he wasn't so good either. and if he could have kept his hands by his side we'd have been in the final.

Yaya is the past already.he already won everything he could with Barca.now he choose $ and starting position,i don't blame him and will wish him good luck.
but imo,i think his best position is CM,not DM or AM.u just can't waste both of his defending and attacking abilities.
