I'm disillusioned by the hype these types of signings always have, and I don't think it's some mistake that he's getting the Douglas treatment.

He's a relatively young player coming from a different league in a different continent, speaking a different language and not used to playing in the Barca style. How many teams rely on their CBs to release pressure as much as Barca does? He didn't even have a pre season, coming in the Winter window, so its not surprise he isn't getting minutes. Best for him is to adjust to life at the club, learn the playstyle and work hard in training. Can't see the logic behind people getting on his back for not getting playtime considers all of the aforementioned factors. Its not like he is a well established player bought in to instantly become a starter. He was brought in cause Masche was leaving in Jan, else he'd have probably come in the summer window.
