We have a replacement for Pedro ready if he deicdes to leave in the future.

Oleg Konoplyanka (father): "It's too early now, but Yevhen's goal is to play for Barça in the future. Now we focus on Sevilla." [matchday]

40 million release clause in a 4 year contract that was officially signed today.

Signed for 0.00 !

A fat signing bonus and a fat paycheck, considering they had to fight off EPL clubs to get him.

There is no reported signing fee. A fat pay check... most probably, although not something quite above Sevilla's standards. Avoiding EPL clubs is easy. Sevilla is a more serious team and a good way to get recognition from the big two, Barca and RM. Also, Tottenham, Liverpool, Stoke etc. do not provide the beauty of CL group stages and the beauty of La Liga.

The signing fee is never reportes in a "free" transfer. It´s money for the player and the agent.

Well in that case I can reassure you that it certainly wasn't some 'stratospheric' fee that you're probably thinking of.

The key to getting Kono was: club prestige of Sevilla (especially European cups), La Liga, strong transfer affiliation with Barca, CL football (which none of the rumored EPL teams had).

Get your facts straight!

lol. I never said it was stratospheric. But you can´t say it also because you dont know shit about what trully happens. Like all the other fans. Dont presume to be Monchi assistant.
Free transfers are never free. He could receive 1M ou 4M. You and me will never know it. So please stop with the arrogance.
You dont have any facts. Not even straight.

Even if Konoplyanka got 10 million for signing, it's still a great deal for Sevilla. And Dnipro's president got a taste of his own medicine.

Konoplyanka's first La Liga goal, which helped Sevilla to take their first victory in La Liga of this season.
