He is actually saying all the right things, not one fan is upset with Zidane or what he says. He actually highlighted a very good point about the team's fitness and their drive. It makes sense why they never did well in big games, as other teams, including Barcelona fight till the last minute and keep running, Real Madrid players do not. I hope he keeps bringing it up and pushes the team to self exert. The team's fitness is perhaps so bad, and when they hit fitness levels required for a game, they need to work on their endurance.
While he lacks the tactical knowledge to moderate a team like Real Madrid, he is learning, I do not see him playing awful tactics to protect the team's weaknesses, he is playing a style that exposes their weakness which is the only way to grow. Regressive and defensive approaches have brought nothing but failure at Real Madrid, so we need someone who will over come the fear of losing points and play to their strengths. He may fail in the end but when he does, it would not be upsetting, it would be actually liberating in the sense that fans won't have to curse their luck at managers like Rafa and Mourinho who play football that is hard to stomach, even with a win.
