Couldn't even handle Ødegaard's ego, so it will be interesting to see how he will handle all the divas and egos in the first team, biggest of them all Penaldo.

Bit early, but I don't think he'll be able to in the long run.

Maradona was thrown into the job.. Zidane was assistant to Mourinho than Ancelotti and in charge of Castilla for 1 & half season...hardly comparable for Maradona who's first proper job was Argentina.. 13 years after his failed player/Manager role

Being an assistant and Castilla manager isn't that much experience to be honest... Either way, I was referring that the admiration players feel for him doesn't guarantee anything and that's why I cited the Maradona example, nothing to do with their abilities as coaches...

Zidane stated that he will continue to play bbc, so nothing will change much, unbalanced team is unbalanced.

It seems to me that he is going to try to please Flo as much as possible and that only means trouble... Especially if that means more of James and Isco and sacrificing a defensive role in midfield...

Huge difference when you learn your trade as an assistant than coach & being thrown into the dugout like Maradona without any experience
working with Jose & Carlo plus Castilla.. and taking 3 years to take his license in France with Bernard Lacombe as his teacher & going to Claire Fontaine while he could have got it in Spain in 3 month.. learning from Bielsa & Guardiola attending the training & courses all of these things Maradona didn't do... Maradona was like a kid playing football manager & suddenly he is training.. he only had his charisma no studies unlike Zidane
that doesn't mean he will be a success but the approach is completely different

Zidane didn't say he will play the BBC... he said he plays with 3 attackers... he was smart in his reply

I agree.
+ I would add, as player, he had coaches like Lippi and Del Bosque, which I consider 2 of the the best coaches I have never seen.
Concerning Maradona, he was simply a FANTASTIC player. Stop. That's it. He is not a manager, he is not a coach, he is the main responsible for the failure of Argentina in the World Cup 2010. As ARG coach, he was a fucking ridiculous joke.

Once again, I wasn't referring to to their abilities as coaches, just that charisma and respect from players won't get him anywhere by itself... If you believe he is prepared for the job, then that's a different story...

I didn't watch his press conference, but read the reports and all said BBC instead of three attackers, even level headed madridistas like Relaño referred explicitly to BBC, so I sincerely apologize for believing the press, my bad...

However, what does it mean for you "play with three attackers"? The current squad has only three real attackers, Benz and Bale are favored by Flo and sidelining Cristiano will only cause more drama within the dressing room... Perhaps the other option could be James, who is also favored by Flo, but that would mean dropping one of the above and he's more of an AM, so I'm not sure how that would work... And even if somehow he managed to fit them all in, does it really solve the balance issues the team has? Or is there a new signing coming?

Zidane is the most overrated Player in football

No way.. He is one of very few who could turn an average team into a worldclass team.

France would NEVER have won the Wold Cup and the Euro in 1998 and 2000 without him. Not even Messi or Christiano could do that so far..
