ZZ is one of the most overrated footballers in history because he had some amazing big match moments like the goals in WC98 final, that CL goal against Bayer and that match against Brazil in 2006. He doesn't come close to Xavi, Iniesta and Modrić in consistency.

And it wasn’t like he only scored/got assists.

Ah yes, he made players around him better when Juventus were Serie A champion and under his leadership they finished in 7th place. Went on 3 empty handed season. Then he left to Madrid and Juve suddenly dominated Serie A again.

He also went 3 empty handed season with Madrid. Then he retired and Madrid won 2 consecutive Laliga tittles (more than his entirely 5 years with them).
