Lewandowski isn’t just a striker; he’s the apex predator in a world of spineless, TikTok-generation footballers who would rather do pointless stepovers than score goals. He doesn’t need to dribble past four defenders, he simply materializes at the right spot, like a cosmic event preordained by the gods of football. If Barcelona dares to let him go, they will lose their last connection to true, unfiltered, carnivorous goal-scoring.
Atta boy...well said.
Nailed it.

Let's see...the next match against Ossasuna on Saturday. Cool!

So, how many goals Lewandowski got in La Liga this season so far? 21 in 25 matches...not too shabby.

I tell you one little secret. He will play tomorrow and I will watch him play and shoot a goal or two, maybe three.

The dogs may bark, but the caravan moves on.
Think he might be rested, so we can just watch the tennis instead

Starting Lewandowski has nothing to do with Flick's favouritism

Pau Victor would definitely not do any better than Lewandowski
How do you know that? Did Pau Victor get the same amount of time like him to compare apple with apple? I recall, PV get 2-3min in few games few months ago and of course, what can you do in that short time? Imagine if Lewanflopski would get same time…..

Not nearly the same level of competition.
The top leagues have become more balanced and competitive.

So no, these are just baseless hypotheticals.

The days of Neymar spaghetti noodles are over. Which is why we just don't see it anymore.

It's more about efficiency now, which is what Messi excelled at so he would dominate any time period, minus when AI players takes over. However, the stats would just not be the same.

If you want to play with hypotheticals though, I'd argue for the reason of efficiency, that Messi and Lewandowski would make a far more lethal combination than Messi and Neymar or Messi and Suarez.
It's not like Messi and Neymar were unique talents, but somehow La Liga is better now with worse players. Flawless. Lamine is nowhere near Neymar and has a good time dribbling them.
Suarez had no header skills but besides that he is in no way comparable with this mediocre poacher. Suarez is a big player, always was. Why Lewandowski will be better with his inability to control a ball?

Lewandowski's ball control was untouchable in his prime. You're comparing current 36 y/o Lewandowski with prime FC Barcelona Suarez. Blind to the fact that old Lewandowski is still banging goals in LL and CL. Blind to the fact that Suarez was dogshit and not making even half of Lewandowski numbers while being way younger than 36 y/o.

"Mediocre poacher" you're the mediocre one. And wtf you mean Lamine is nowhere near Neymar xd typical braindead cancelling fcb la liga gamę because someones died enthusiast

That's why Suarez scored 1 away UCL goal on 25 matches streak? Such a big game player, LOL

While I touched a bit on this topic already, I'd like to add another reason why the favouritism is obvious - on one hand, the traditional love, tenderness, empathy and reverence that's just ingrained in German people when dealing with Poles, and the Polish trust, awe and gratitude towards Germans built over centuries on the other. It's just sparks of delight and rainbows of friendship, love though platonic on first sight and meant to last for years, and no Pau Victor Delgado can compete with that, he's from Spain, can you imagine. 37 years or 52 years old, it's always the ski over ado, meat sousage over rice paella, and the bombastic Warsaw over frank Madrid.

More proof, you say, sure here you go - when in doubt, look at Szczęsny. There is now a Polish man on both sides of the pitch, a clear Poland Stronk type of operation that Flick is running here. A pincer movement of szczski , a dance of smoke and mirrors, a vision of KS Barcelona, that is the madness that makes Flick pick the league top scorer and 2nd CL goal scorer, flopski in short, to the squad.
