Poor game so far. Missed a shot and showcased his erratic playmaking ability with a very poor pass into Raphinha. A more creative player gets his angles right there and Raphinha is one on one. It's subtle moments like that where you see he lacks compared to other players, outside scoring. Against better teams those moments are fewer and far between and if he doesn't get it right, I guarantee it will cost youse.

He will probably score and it will all be forgotten.

Yes, I also think he lacks that something. He is a split second late, whether it is a shot or a pass. I hope that 1 or 2 goals scored in the game will help him regain that "feeling of the ball". But at the moment, unfortunately, his form has disappeared somewhere.

It's not that his form has disappeared, it's just that outside of scoring, he's never been special or particularly good. His hold up play can be good but it is very erratic and only getting worse at his age. He will cost Barca at some point or moments in future ties, I am almost certain of it.

There's simply no defence for that pass. A player with his reputation is clearly overrated if he cannot make that pass (and it isn't the first time). It isn't even a hard pass - I make harder ones at my infinitely lower level.

This is just not true. In his prime he was a monster at holdup and first touch, all sorts of flicks and so on. Technique declines with age for many players.

I disagree. We obviously have different standards and definitions of being a monster at hold up (though it was good) and first touch. I have never thought he has a great first touch.

I think prime Kane is better than prime Lewy, yet people think Kane has never been fit to lace Lewy's boots. That's why i find him very overrated.
