I honestly think the last time Brazil had a legendary team was 1982.
They've had good teams and top players since then, and won two World Cups. But I don't think you can call the 94 and 2002 champions legendary - not at all. Not on paper necessarily but on style and performance in my humble opinion they're not legendary sides, unlike the 58 and 70 sides. And aforementioned 82 side, who are probably top three teams never to win the trophy, alongside Cruyff's Holland and Puskas's Hungary.
The irony is they probably performed better in terms of entertaining football in 1998 than 1994 and 2002, yet because of Ronaldo's panic attack and Zidane's genius, that is the one they didn't win.
