9 - Robert Lewandowski

But I've already said, study math. For probability - the larger the sample, the more reliable the results. How many matches did he not play in, and how many did he play in. Now, so that you understand better. Take all the matches since he came to Barcelona and check how many goals were scored on average, and then check all the matches he didn't play in since he came and the goals. Eh, I see you still don't understand. For you, 2+2 is 5....

Your reasoning is as follows, Lewandowski will play 37 matches and the average goal will be 3, he won't play in one and they will score 4. For you, the second sample will be more important. Did you swap brains with a chicken? Actually, if that were the case, the chicken would be screwed....

Now we can , finally , both agree that he fucking sucks

He is actually a great super-sub. I believe he scored in most games that he started on the bench.

If his ego would allow it, him taking a pay cut and being 2nd striker option would be great IMO. Not gonna happen, tho.
A player who's outscoring Prime Mbappe, Haaland and Kane should take a pay cut and be a super sub? That's funny.

A lot of players would be outscoring Mbappe, Haaland and Kane with Rapha and Lamine on the wings.

He can't play full 90 at the intensity required anymore, but he can play 50-60 minutes. He is old and when he falls of the cliff, we will be fucked.

Mbappe, Haaland and Kane play for the best teams in the world lol, including players with bigger reputations than Raphinha and Yamal.

And Raphinha and Yamal make tons of selfish decisions even when RL9 is in an amazing position to score. Both have had clear examples of the hype getting to their heads this very season. City and Bayern players are far more selfless.

PS: I could have ended this silly argument of yours just by posting their nearly identical xG stats and Robert's higher conversion rate but I thought it'd be better if I elaborated on the other factors as well.

Honestly, quit the fanboyism. It is so fucking boring, and has been for ages. I am pretty sure most people are sick of it.

Everyone acknowledges that Lewy is doing well, but you cannot take the slightest criticism about him.

@FCBfan22 is right and you are calling his argument 'silly' because of your man love for Lewy. Lewy is doing brilliantly, and hats off to him, but clearly Mbappe and Kane are better players in the year 2025, regardless of Lewy scoring more. You say Haaland, Mbappe and Kane play for better teams, but actually Barca are more in form than their teams and generate much more attacking chances.

You even take aim at Raphinha and Yamal to feed your Lewy obsession, as if Lewy's personality and football IQ are flawless and he's the most selfless player in history. As if every decision he makes is perfect and Raphinha and Lamine are dummies who never pass to him. It's disingenuous and complete bollocks.

Everyone is pleased to see him doing well, but that isn't enough for you and you can't even handle the most gentle of constructive criticism. I really wanna like Lewy but it is you more than anyone who puts people like me and others off him with your extreme fanboyism. I don't know if it is because you are Indian or whatever, but you attach yourself to some famous figures and then talk up everything about them and defend every single gentle criticism. You obsess over certain people in a fanboy way.

Just grow up and accept that other people will have different (constructive) opinions about him. He's doing very well in the starting XI, but FBCfan22 was right that he'd be a great super sub, and your man love causes you to get irate, take the hump, and type paragraphs in defence of him, as well as slagging off his team-mates with utter bollocks.

There's nothing wrong with rating him highly, but you're just a militant fanboy who wants everyone to lick his arsehole 100 percent of the time, and ironically your posts in this thread are a large reason for the criticism he receives. You do him way more harm than good. Some fan you are.

Like I say, lewy is doing well, but some introspection and constructive criticism (and that's all FCBfan22 was doing) never hurt anyone.

Stop being such a boring prick.

'players with bigger reputations than Raphinha and Yamal.'

Bigger reputations doesn't mean better form or performing better currently, stupid.

This. And his fall of the cliff is invetiable. I don't want another old Suarez situation, which was going on for 2 years too long.

As soon as his fall off the cliff happens, it's too late for us if we don't sign another striker before.
