6 - Gavi

He'll get the time he needs, but it's going to be really difficult for him to break into the Starting XI regardless.
He is not better than Pedri, Frenkie with the level he's shown for a while now and obviously Olmo.

But Olmo cannot stay fit consistently so maybe that's where he comes into play? He's not that great as a CAM though.

Same shite about ACLs being 24 months from Jamrock the numpty who used Van Dijk as example.

Now its 2 1/2 years to January 2026.

Just clean making shit up as go.

The latest reports are just the media guessing as he is due to play more with Casado out.

Gavi Bernal Pedri is the future

That Midfield 3 will be soooooo good

I smile just typing it.

Or replace Bernal with whoever if he doesn't work out.

Gavi at his best is better than olmo shocker i know.

But just ask all the Spanish coaches.

Also De Jong but that one is obvious.

But he's not a AM or DM, like those two.

He needs a 3 man midfield to look his best.

All his best games, came in something like a 3 man Midfield or when he's playing as a actually CM, like vs Madrid, but in a 4231, its hard for him to find a place, because he's not better than Pedri, and the other two that he's better than fit the other two positions more naturally.

Gavi will never be a better AM than Olmo.

Ask what of the 'Spanish coaches'?

No teams now are playing sole DM and two on front of that. Every team going is playing two deeper mids.

Gavi has never been better than FDJ 'when fit' and never will be.

He lacks big time in almost every aspect to FDJ other than running around.

When Barca played a '3 man midfield' Gavi was behind FDJ and clearly so. Yet that apparently is his strongest position and one FDJ cant play..

Jamrock adovcating Pedri at AM again.. utterly clueless. He can play there and be top class.. but you need him deeper and on ball more. Taking ball from defence more often and with game on front of him.

Bernal flavour of month when was 'years away' and not as good as some of us made out last summer.

With casado's injury, de jong staying fit is absolutely cruel, because the drop off from him to Garcia is just too much and gavi is not a DM.

But if god forbid Pedri gets injured, a gavi de jong double pivot would have a lot of people eating there words about gavi very quickly.

More would be eating their words about FDJ who would clearly be the better of the two.

Not only is FDJ the better more defensive player in a two he is better than Gavi in the other role with more freedom also.

Changed days from you claiming 'Gavi is better deeper than Pedri'... usual.

Pure CAM is not really needed in this team. It's nice to have a midfielder that can chip in and make a difference in the box, but it is not really essential.

Nah he definitely has been playing up to the hard man act and better for it when ignores it.

The opposition prefer him playing like scrappy doo than more focused like yesterday.

Opposition fear him and Barca feels confident with him on the pitch. As his energy galvanizes his teammates.
Brave fellow like him adds balance and no wonder Flick praises him.
