Ousmane Dembélé

DonAK

President of FC Barcelona
ter Stegen is probably the only player Messi dislikes from his recent Barca team mates, or isn't on good terms with.

And Pique of course lol. In fact he probably hates Pique more than anyone else for reasons that's been reported a million times.

Dembele seems like an easy guy to get along with.

“First of all, I’m just really proud of the team. We fought for every ball, every moment. But honestly, I have to give a special mention to Dembélé. He might’ve been wearing a different shirt, but today… he played like he was one of us. Man of the Match, without a doubt. Football’s strange sometimes—you never know where the help will come from.”

Messi quite likes Dembele. Before his first goal for Barca from Messi's assist (vs Chelsea in 2018), Messi be like: Calma and i will assist you. Then there is a picture Dembele hugging Messi like that Pele's iconic celebration in 1970 World Cup.

Mats is clearly on Messi's hate list. For obvious reasons.

That performance is one of the reasons why I'll never rate Dembele so high

Biggest game of your career, literally bilions of people are watching, you get the chance to start

And what you do is drop such a historic stinker...

Mental aspect is an important thing to every footballer. His ability to, even when things aren't going the best, put everything aside and rise to the occasion.

With Dembele, I never saw something such. He is thriving in PSG now because they have given him confidence. But if things start falling apart, if they find themselves in a tough position against a top opponent - Dembele won't be the one to bail them out.

I thought exactly like you until the recent game... But in all honesty he was quite crucial against liverpool...

He is in a different space mentality right now.

Koeman played him as striker against PSG and he played well, but couldn't finish a ramen with a fork.

I reckon he doesn't reach this level at Barca. Too huge of a mental debt to overcome.

New environment, fresh start. Etc. like the bloke who changes for the new girlfriend but not the old one but then she is all like "but why didn't he change for me?". Well I'm sorry Trina, but maybe it's because you were a lying, conniving bitch! And that when you said you were having a girls you were actually with Carl in Acapulco. And so what if I want to where speedos instead of shorts!? Maybe they don't look as cool but they allow me to swim faster, it's in the fuckin name!?!?

...sorry lads, went off on a tangent there. Where was I?

3 people that Messi hates

Bartomeu, MATS and Pique

Was just searching for the disputs between Leo and Pique and found this, i never thought the tension between both is that big

Piqué: "Did I congratulate Messi on winning the World Cup? No, not really. Since my retirement I have disconnected from football. I didn't watch any World Cup game, except for the final, and I didn't watch the whole game."

Messi hates Stegen for good reason. With a keeper like that, as soon as he had a not so good game, we were out from CL guaranteed. Every single time. Messi as a player was a tremendous force but not a pure leader. He needed someone to step in in crucial pressure moments and between likes of Stegen, Pique, Alba, he got shite on a stick.

A top leader in central defense and goalkeeper and the CL tally of Messi Barca would have been greatly improved. Messi loved leaders and respected big game players tremendously during his career. He had his big share of blame for the Amigo culture but Madrid won many CLs with managers who behaved like EV did. But they had leaders in defense and goalkeeper position. Not bums.

Stegen is one of the worst signings in our entire history. Without a doubt.
