Again, if you want a discussion, please give me some arguments why Vinicius, Lewandowski, Haaland, Rashford, Lingard, Mbappe, Bellingham and Raphinha are better players than Maradona, Pele, R9, Best, Garrincha, Van Basten.

After all, they play in the more advanced, professional era, so they must be better, right? As you implied?

This is your chance to have a debate. I will wait.

Your whole argument is that random dude from 1600 was better than average modern footballer because he was more talented and its not his fault that he was born at times where football didnt exist yet

Some of you guys act like the 60s was the Cretaceous period.

Yes football has changed, but a lot of players from then would shine and prosper in modern football (if given training to bring them to today's fitnesss tandards). Because they were geniuses at playing football.

Equally, many players from now would struggle in 1966 if you transported them there and took away their fitness advantage.

This is what everyone have been asking for.

We all know he cannot play like he's 30 anymore, but we need him to score on the chances he gets. As long as he keep doing that people in general will be content even in games where his overall game isn't good.

Everyone knows he is old.
