    Sergio Busquets

On top of a very average performance his dumb red card nearly cost us a point if not for Ter Stegen. He was shit.

    4 - Ronald Araújo

He was awful and his stupid red card nearly cost us a point. Well done.

    Sergio Busquets

You are looking for things that weren't there mate. FDJ came on and managed to make a very visible impact in 30 minutes. Give it up, he played shite.

    Frenkie de Jong

Adds so much more energy and dynamism than Gavi/Busquets/Pedri did, got the ball to the attack fast and in space rather than waiting till they got back. He knows how to attack space with the ball and stylistically that's great against parked buses where he'll have space to run with the ball...

    Frenkie de Jong

Excellent sub appearance, he added so much with his dynamic runs up the field and got the ball to the attack much faster than the other midfielders. Strange he didn't start.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

He got pocketed by Rayo centerhalfs and they read his movements very well. Bad first game but it happens.

La Liga Round 1: FC Barcelona - Rayo Vallecano 0-0

Ter Stegen and Frenkie the best on the pitch. Frenkie's darting runs forward time after time produced chances and it is bizarre Xavi thinks Gavi is better than him.

    Premier League 2022/2023

Tactics are absolutely awful. Throwing 10 people forward into the box standing doing nothing and getting destroyed on the counter every time. Trying to play possession short passing football with Fred and Maguire. He thinks he can copy paste his Ajax ideology to Man U. Almost like he had no...

    Sergiño Dest

Dest and Xavi was over after that Bayern game. Xavi has never stopped blaming him for that. That game was the end for Dest at Barca.

    Gerard Piqué

This is a rare case where I think LaLiga is being reasonable in their application of the cap. Hundreds of millions in wages being deferred is ridiculous, and will undoubtedly cause huge issues when that payment is to be collected and he counts as the worth of 20 first-team players for that season.

    Frenkie de Jong

Agree. Shows that his dribbling is skill and not pure speed

    Joan Laporta

Hey, at least it's exciting for us to watch a competitive team with great players. We've suffered enough these past years.

    Martin Braithwaite

I genuinely think no team wants him. We saw what happened with Rennes. They were all for it and as soon as they learned about his physical condition they were like hell no and ran away. And their coach knows him well and spoke very highly of him, when they saw their medical reports they...

    Joan Laporta

That might be a little too early to prepare all the documents given it was only signed this morning but I hope they can get it in. Then we'd be able to register majority of players for Rayo.

    Ousmane Dembélé

God. Short term deal, 10m net a year, and what could be a 50m release clause if Dembele wishes. If this news is all true Sissoko has really done over Alemany here.

    Frenkie de Jong

@JacobsBen (CBS) Barca are prepared to challenge FDJ's contract in court as a last resort if he doesn't take a pay cut or leave. For me this is interesting because if we really did this and succeeded with our lawsuit, we would immediately owe him the deferred wages as his salary reduction of...

    Ousmane Dembélé

With 4m easy to achieve variables, it's essentially 20m gross 10m net. That doesn't sound much like a 40% pay cut that the media claimed.\ And also casts extreme doubt on Lewa getting 9m net a year.

    Ousmane Dembélé

Mmmmm. Mateu Padremany!!!! I swear, this guy has to have the biggest false image in the world.

La Liga Round 1: FC Barcelona - Rayo Vallecano 0-0

A lot of players haven't been registered at other clubs based on technical choice iirc. If you aren't good enough why should you be entitled to be registered over a better player? I think their obligations are showing up to the sporting facilities and training but not to play matches.

    FC Barcelona Finances

ESPN say that Christensen and Kessie have clauses allowing them to leave for free if not registered on time for the first game. They are unlikely to be triggered but they are an option for those two players.
