Which technique??? How can you not know the technique Bruno Fernandes and Jorginho use for penalties? They stop and slightly pause on the one foot, look at the goalkeeper the whole time and never the ball and boom hit it in the opposite way the goalkeeper goes. I'm sure you know your stuff but...

Was referring to their technique. Exact same as Ferran Torres took his. It's the best possible method to score a penalty but need to be good at it.

Nah he's actually saved quite a few for us since he got here. This season however it's very clear he's simply not a world class GK. He's lost what he first had when he came. The difference between him and Courtois is night and day and its sad to watch.

Forgot to say I don't quite understand Messi's choice when it comes to penalties. If you're going to put it down low and not even right in the corner you have to be very good at reading where GK is gonna go in the last microsecond, and Messi just isn't good at it. He really needs to accept that...

I have noticed that numerous times this season, however he did it quite often with Barcelona too. Sometimes he did, sometimes he didn't. Wouldn't read too much into it.

I'll always love Messi and view him as the best player whoever lived. Still one of the best in the world right now. However I have nothing against Laporta not being able to keep him. He has clearly declined simply with age and Barcelona couldn't possibly evolve when they relied on him heavily...
