CL Quarter Final: PSG - Barca 2-3

Imo, Lamine is doing okay considering the stage of this game. He'll learn a lot from tonight. Great thing is having Ferran on the bench. PSG is having issues not getting run behind their line and Ferran is the best in that regard apart from maybe Raphinha. Felix could hurt them too. Would be...

CL Quarter Final: PSG - Barca 2-3

Since Cancelo is being criticized. Yes, he should have done better there but he is integral part in having Dembele under control which he has done pretty well so far. Sounds easier than done and takes a lot of running. Can't blame him when he is gassed out in that counter and making a bad decision.

CL Quarter Final: PSG - Barca 2-3

Apart from some shaky early minutes (which can even happen to way more experienced teams on that stage like seen yesterday with Madrid and Bayern) the team has played a great first half. The defensive setup is working extremely well. If someone gets past a player, someone else will save the day...

    5 - Iñigo Martínez

Injuries have always kept him back. This guy is a really, really good defender when fit. He was crazily good in those games late October, early November until got injured.

    1 - Marc-Andre ter Ansplant

That's only one part of the story though. Pena being not good enough is not really an excuse for the whole back line making stupid mistakes. There must be more to it than MAtS being just the way better keeper. Either he gives his colleagues way more confidence or he is orchestrating the whole...

La Liga Round 28: Atletico - Barca 0-3

International break sucks now that team is cooking. This time there is no mental break necessary and the danger of more injuries is always there. Let's hope everyone returns healthy.

La Liga Round 28: Atletico - Barca 0-3

Is it just me or is Lewa way quicker lately?

La Liga Round 28: Atletico - Barca 0-3

Lewa right in time back to his scoring boots. Great one this. Not to forget his assist

La Liga Round 28: Atletico - Barca 0-3

Memphis and Griezmann in at half time. Gonna be a different game now.

La Liga Round 28: Atletico - Barca 0-3

Imo he always had that trait in him but he could allow way more for the player he was and being captain. He also had less to moan about as Barca was cooking in his prime and winning more or less everything. Always feared this might be something standing in his way in becoming a great coach...

    16 - Fermín López

Offers something very different to every other Barca mid which makes him a great addition squad player. You need more than 11 players.

    19 - Lamine Yamal

Shouldn't really care about his pace as he compensates it pretty well with technique. Biggest room for improvement is his finishing and this can actually be trained. Developing trust in his right foot too to shoot if the situation requires it and he'll become a very dangerous player.

    Oriol Romeu (loaned to Girona)

Tried his best to assist/gift a goal to Napoli. He is a likeable guy, but sorry, really not good enough to play another game for Barca.

CL Round of 16: Barca - Napoli 3-1

They are not really overrated. They are very efficient and experienced with great mentality. Say what you want about them. They don't play beautiful football, but they win their games and won't fall apart against anyone. They can win against any team which can't be said about Barca.

    2 - Pau Cubarsí

It's true. Seen him doing pictures with media holding the trophy.

    Sergi Roberto

Wouldn't mind him with reduced wages

Good that club didn't get De Ligt. Let's hope Cubarsi develops well. The talent is there to become a great CB.

    Sergi Roberto

Great movement to assist the freeing goal. I'm always confident that he does well when he comes on in these type of games unlike Romeu. Played like a captain and brought a breath of fresh air which revived the whole midfield.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

The least active in tonight's attack. Had his moments though. Leaving that ball for Fermin was a smart decision. Didn't receive the pass in dangerous positions as colleagues sometimes were a bit selfish. Would have scored at least one more if it wasn't for that. Can't blame his colleagues...

    11 - Raphinha

Very very active and much involved in Barca's great start which was key to succeed tonight. He's hit and miss. Left side might suit him well but need more games to judge.
