    Luis Suárez

Likely to sign in the MLS after World Cup. Leo, Busi and a few other amigos could join him next summer.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

Biggest factor is what his wage demands were. Everything else is irrelevant in comparison. Big difference between demanding 100m gross + bonuses, and 25m gross + bonuses.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Suarez got fat and is playing in South America during the same time Lewandowski is contending for Golden Boots and Ballon D'ors. No question which one took their career more seriously.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

It's good to have a striker who scores against lesser sides. That is how you win the league, but also expecting top performances against bigger teams.

    Ousmane Dembélé

Was poor, but still good enough vs 10 man Elche. Started 1st and 3rd goals.

    11 - Raphinha

Painful trying to watch him dribble. Needs to stop relying solely on spectacular skills to get past his marker. Sometimes dropping a shoulder/feinting and changing direction is enough.

    1 - Marc-Andre ter Ansplant

Made a great lunging save only to concede cheaply on the resulting corner. Needs to be much more decisive in commanding his area. Either commit 100% to getting the ball or get in a good position to make the stop.

    Ousmane Dembélé

Imagine comparing this braindead prat to prime or even current Neymar. :rofl1: Cadiz and Plzen are his level.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Thankfully next match is Elche at home. Lewandowksi can score 3 goals there and go sliding into celebration away from his teammates like he just scored the winning goal in the World Cup each time.

    Ousmane Dembélé

Started the 3rd goal and finished the 4th. Top stuff, keep it up.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Wow, have not seen this level from a Barca player since Leo in 2019. :worthy:

    10 - Ansu Fati

Dembele got 5 years of being shite and battling injury. Surely we can give Ansu one season.
  13. T

    Ousmane Dembélé

Not a selfish player at all. That is the least of his problems. Folk reading far too much into one moment.
  14. T

    6 - Gavi

Public perception of him is that he's some offensive maestro. Makes sense; all short, young, Spanish central midfielders from La Masia are stereotyped to fit the same profile.
  15. T

    11 - Raphinha

Brilliant match. Might be our best winger technically, only an in form Fati compares.
  16. T

    7 - Ferran Torres

Head dropped and confidence gone. Does not seem like the type to fight for a place, rather the profile that needs to be coddled and played into form. Could easily end up being Coutinho 2.0 where by January he forgets how to play football altogether.
  17. T

    10 - Ansu Fati

Only good match he played this season was when he was a support striker behind Lewandowski. In his current state he is not suited to lead the line, nor play as a wing. Badly needs to regain quickness.

    Premier League 2022/2023

City losing focus at the back again. Happens way too often.

    Premier League 2022/2023

Generally do like watching City play and Haaland is one of my favourite players, no question about it. Rather this than camping in the La Liga thread sucking off Madrid and "Big Dick Benz" anytime he scores a goal.

    Premier League 2022/2023

Not an easy finish that. Too low for a headed tap in and too high to simply roll into the goal. Great coordination and timing to hit that on the volley.
