    28 - Marc Bernal

Sorry but Bernal moves like a wet cloth next to a player like Ruiz. There is a glaring difference in athleticism and if we keep ignoring this we will continue to get emasculated against other top midfields. There is big difference between having players like, say Modric or Xavi Simons or Fede...

    28 - Marc Bernal

Still a bit skeptical about his athleticism but have to admit he does have that natural football IQ that makes him stand out. The only one I've seen who might actually be comparable to Busquets in that regard. Should probably hold on to him.

    8 - Pedri

I agree, but do we have any better candidates for the 10 position? Unless he wants to try either Raphinha or Yamal and they happen to work out, I still don't see anyone better suited than Pedri.

    Hans-Dieter Flick

And they did. I was never the biggest Xavi fan, but I will give him this. We're still not the most intense side in European football, but we are in MUCH better shape than we were before him.

    8 - Pedri

Compared to Wirtz, Foden, Bellingham, Odegaard, even Cole Palmer atm, Pedri is not a serious profile. Maybe he could be, but it requires figuring out how to translate his skillset into a more concrete value, and then adding that difference game after game over at least a season. Then we can...

    Let's talk about Xavi's replacement (2024)

I can't pretend to know how good a manager Flick actually is, but something I have been wanting for so long is to see our wingers released from the sideline, which I'm guessing would be his first order of business. I want to see Yamal drift inside and I also think players like Pedri and Lewa...

FC Barcelona: Win of the youth system

Been spending a lot of time at work watching these La Masia youtube comps. I like this guy Juan Hernandez a lot. 16 year old AM. Has a nice grace to him.

    Let's talk about Xavi's replacement (2024)

I also like his piercing eyes and erect stature.

    Let's talk about Xavi's replacement (2024)

He is very tanned for a German.

    Barca Transfers and Rumors

    Javi Guerra would be interesting.

    Xavi Hernández

Laporta drawing things out until he knows whether Tuchel or Flick are down?
  12. BusiTheKing

    19 - Lamine Yamal

My take is that if we're ruining him in any way, it's by depriving him of creative companions. Messi developed into the player he did by having Alves, Xavi, Iniesta, Ronaldinho to play off of. Not only does Yamal not have that sort of quality to play off of, he has no-one around him to...

Vitor Roque (loaned to Real Betis)

He has no instinct of his surroundings or how to move with the ball. Doubt he'll ever suceed at any level of European football.
  14. BusiTheKing

    19 - Lamine Yamal

Very different play style. With how Yamal exerts himself in games, it doesn't make a huge difference if he's playing against senior or U19 opposition. First team might actually be more prudent than b-team in regards to physical toll.

La Liga Round 37: Barca - Rayo Vallecano 3-0

Struggling to play it out of our own half against Rayo Vallecano.

    Ernesto Valverde

It was obvious that pretty early on in his tenure here his relationship with the group had fallen into a sort of mutually tolerable impasse. He correctly sensed that the locker room presence of certain senior players meant that there was a limit to how hard he could push things without...

    Let's talk about Xavi's replacement (2024)

I'd like someone who can attract some talent. Fit wise it's always a gamble anyway. Be ok with Rafa, I guess. Conceicao I don't get.
  18. BusiTheKing

    8 - Pedri

Too many cute passes that make no difference. In the end it's Roberto who ends up with an assist because he had the balls to make an actual attacking move.
  19. BusiTheKing

    8 - Pedri

When Pedri was playing AM he didn't score either tho.
  20. BusiTheKing

    17 - Marc Casadó

He's no scintillating talent but he's a pretty well rounded player, which we could probably use. Not too slow, good work rate, defensively solid, decent reliable passing.
