    Defender for next season?

I was just generally speaking with regards to numerous posts in here. And im really ambivalent there as well, as i see Hummels as the perfect defender for Barca. But hes very instrumental for Dortmudn and id like to keep him there tbh ;) And ye, tactically very intersting group!

    Defender for next season?

And i don't understand these people who want us to buy the likes of Hummels. don't they have any heart? Dortmund is a magic team on the rise, they must be left to grow! ;)

2011-2012 CL Final: Bayern - Chelsea

Well, Tymoshuk is 31, ukrainian captain and a very experienced player, already leading Zenith St. Petersburg to the UEFA cup win. He also has a pretty decent shot. Very questionable for such a player to chicken out. But it was certainly the pressure and the lack of confidence - after several...

    Arjen Robben

Ye, thats indeed a problem. Italians arise as those who like to buy name players despite their age or form. Maybe City too ... could even do a swap deal with Nasri or sth ...

Are CL winners the best team in Europe?

Id also say Dortmund if you only take 2012 into account. For the complete season i guess its RM. Overall best performance when you you take all season matches in consideration. And thats were Chelsea drops out. They won the cup from a few key matches under fairly fortunate conditions. Doesnt...

2011-2012 CL Final: Bayern - Chelsea

I never said anything about their options and against it being legit, to play like that, i.e. just crowd their own box. But i evaluated it based on the number of shots they received. But your argumentation of 'only 7 on target' and '22 were blocked anyway' is somehow exaggerating their...

    Arjen Robben

Ofc it was. But they had to do it in order to keep him silent during the decisive part of the season, b/c he was already moaning about possibly leaving the clubs right prior to the two cup finals ... Now after those two games and regarding the internal team atmosphere (brawling with Ribery...

2011-2012 CL Final: Bayern - Chelsea

In what way was that a football lesson? Did they teach us, that you can be just bad in almost every aspect of the game (leaving out scoring from corners and saving penalty shots) and still win?

2011-2012 CL Final: Bayern - Chelsea

@Barcelonista So you think that allowing shots on your goal is a clever tactics to win the game? Or dont you actually think that every shot you offer to the opposition grants them a chance to score? Counting on 50% of them being blocked and the other half (which is still 21!) missing its...

2011-2012 CL Final: Bayern - Chelsea

I wonder what ppl will make out of this victory from chelseas perspective. Even the glorification of Inters 'magnificent' defensive performance and Mourinhos 'ingenious' tactics was way off already. But turning Chelsea into a legendary and brilliant defensive unit would be a complete joke...

2011-2012 CL Final: Bayern - Chelsea

Lampard cleverly blocked him, so there isnt much he could do against it. Bayern should have put a tall man on the 1st post ... and they had won it ...

2011-2012 CL Final: Bayern - Chelsea

I really wonder if Robben leaves the pitch unharmed after that match ... or maybe someone 'accidentally' breaks his leg in a rude tackling? Nah, Müller was subbed b/c he had cramps. Best player on the pitch was Lahm imo. Absolutely flawless defensively, even strong in the air and offensively...

He was having cramps and begged for being subbed out.

2011-2012 CL Final: Bayern - Chelsea

I think Contento offered good support 1st half. And note that Lahms support at the left is limited, b/c he cant overlap and cross from the run as he is right footed. And well, Rafinha didnt convince me at all ...

2011-2012 CL Final: Bayern - Chelsea

No, was absolutely right to play COntento, who had a good game. ALso Lahm was offensively very strong (making him the overall best man on the pitch imo) and keeping him aside Robben was also the right thing to do.

    Arjen Robben

Its not that single match from last night that makes him finished. Its his complete season. He really neither doesnt have the pace like 1-2 yrs ago, nor the goal scoring abilities.

2011-2012 CL Final: Bayern - Chelsea

Well, ok i get it now. You refer to the ET. But that was sth different. They lost both Müller and Ribery and just didnt have the personel anymore to keep attacking. And other players were ofc getting exhausted after 90+ minutes. Wasnt about them being cautious, they just couldnt go anymore.

2011-2012 CL Final: Bayern - Chelsea

Imo they had the absolute perfect balance between attacking and defending. They took 43 shots ... does that sound very cautious?
