    Lionel Messi - v7

Himself! Watch the games, you're not seeing what's going on. The players you named earier, how many goals have they scored without the Messi pre-assist? Fati was probably the only one who was regularly creating something. The rest have generally been abysmal. Have you looked at the league...

They haven't have you watched the games. Time and time again they fuck it up.

    Lionel Messi - v7

Absolute delusion. We've lacked midfield creativity for five years, that's been the main issue with this team. I'm out, waste of time.

    Lionel Messi - v7

They're not skilled enough to find him, and he's not going to be making runs into the box from 40 yards out. I don't see how you don't see this.

    Lionel Messi - v7

It's because messi is opening the game up for them. They don't create fuck all so they better at the very least score. I'm sure Messi would appreciate some reciprocation.

    Lionel Messi - v7

I agree with the bolded bit, otherwise I thought he was generally himself, although he probably didn't walk as much.

    Lionel Messi - v7

I think the difference today was the wide players making the runs, and he typically found them with brilliant passes. Glad he got that goal as I'm sure that while he was pleased the team was winning, he was probably still wondering what he actually had to do to get a goal. Almost all the...

    Philippe Coutinho

I think you're spot on here. He really should have done better today.

Say for instance he hadn't scored that goal, how would you (anybody on here) have rated him?

    6 - Carles Alena

Delighted he got time, he deserves it imo. If we want to play a faster type game then we need players like him on the pitch.

La Liga | Round 11: FC Barcelona - Osasuna 4-0

Lots of pluses in that game but it still needs work, obviously. Liked what Alena brought to the game, and Dembele is always going to be trouble for any team chasing a goal or two. Still a bit worrying that the opposition were getting in for chances. I really don't think the fron four worked...

La Liga | Round 11: FC Barcelona - Osasuna 4-0

Didn'tthink Griezmann di dmuch but get in the way tbqh but a fantastic finish. I do agree with you on PC, he's been poor, and one of the few that's found himself in positions with time, so at least he's getting himself open. Unfortunately it's what you do with the ball that is important.

La Liga | Round 11: FC Barcelona - Osasuna 4-0

Desthas done well. Braithwaite good first 30 mins fell away there a bit. Messi playing dangerous balls in to the channels. Mixed bag from everyone else apart from Coutinho who was poor. Should be a comfortable second half. I'd hook Coutinho, and probably Pedri as well for Dembele and Pranjic.

    Lionel Messi - v7

By 2014/15 he wasn't simply playing as an explosive RW, he was continually coming deep to around the half way, mainly central/right, and helping Xavi/Iniesta as their abilty to dictate was dropping off. Rakitic mainly doingthe dirty work for him. Of course it helped that he had three top notch...

    Lionel Messi - v7

No, you're 100% right. I actually had this written ' same shite every time' literally 30 seconds ago but binned it as I know I'd just get sucked into a good for nothing discussion I've had a million times before, and all on a gorgeous day here.

    Lionel Messi - v7

There's no doubt he's been off, been off this whole calendar year in fact, with the occasional top game aside, and those are mainly ones where he's running the game as opposed to finishing. He seems to have lost a bit of power in his shots, and of course the extra half step that gives him the...
