If Benatia wants City then Zubi can do fuck all to change anything about it. All this meltdown is based on a rumour that Benatia would prefer Barcelona. We actually don't know that (and Rafael Hernandez repeating it on Twitter doesnt mean anything) or what is happening behind the scenes.

They also reported that his agent was in Barcelona for negotiations, so meh. You'd think RAC1 a good source too, and then they fuck up big time like they did. Generally, during the transfer window, all sources lose some of their credibility.

Actually, we don't know what Zubi & Co are willing to pay for him. I do think he'll be subject to a bidding war and end up at one of the money clubs, but at this point it's all speculation and MD & Sport bullshitting, we'll have to wait.
